New selection & display options in the 3D environment | Pythagoras CAD 2025

With Pythagoras CAD 2025, the familiar selection tools from the 2D environment are now fully available in the 3D workspace—giving you more flexibility and control when working with point clouds.

In this tutorial, you’ll discover how to use the different selection tools step by step:
✅ Selection Arrow – create simple rectangular selections.
✅ Freehand Selection – click, hold, and drag to define custom shapes.
✅ Brush Selection – paint directly over the area you want to select.
✅ Magic Wand Selection – select entire automatically clustered regions in your point cloud.

Tips and tricks you’ll learn:
– Hold Shift to select multiple clusters.
– Use Selection Add to continuously add or remove clusters.
– Right-click to assign selected points to a new class.
– Highlight your selection with the lightbulb icon.
– Zoom into your selection with Zoom to Fit.
